Word Family Workbook {Update!}

In preparation for next school year, I have added a few more word families to my Word Family Workbook. I've added a few new ones: -aw, -ix, -oke, -one, -ad, -am, -ill, -ent, -tch, th, ch, sh, wh, and ph. So, if you already own this product, be sure to re-download it in your TpT dashboard.

My goal is to have these books ready for next year... before this year is over! :)

Here is a list of all the word families available in this packet:

This packet {and my entire TpT store} is 20% off and the sale ends tonight at midnight!
Don't forget to use the code: TAD13 to receive an additional 10% off!

The first three people who comment with their email address will get this unit FREE!

It's the HAPPIEST SALE of the YEAR!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! This is by far my favorite sale of the year, because it means that summer is right around the corner! I also get to save on all the items I want to use in my classroom next year (I like to work on classroom projects over the summer... I know, I'm crazy...)

Click on the picture below to check out my TpT Shop:

Snatch up these fun summer craftivities to keep your kids busy during the last few weeks of school!
(Click on the pictures to check out each activity in my TpT Shop.)

While all this focus is on summer, don't forget about spring! I have been using these plant activities in my classroom over the last few weeks and my students are having a BLAST!

You can also stock up on your Back-to-School activities for next year!
(Only if you are crazy like me and you like to spend your summer doing school stuff!)

Remember, this 20% off sale is only for two days, so you better GET SHOPPING!!
Don't forget to use the code: TAD13 to receive an additional 10% off!

Gearing up for the test! {FREEBIE!}

My students start taking their end-of-level test next week (EEK!). Since the rest of you are either testing already or getting ready to test, I thought I would share a few things...

1. I will make (or buy) some "Smart Cookies" to remind my students how SMART they are!

2. Doesn't everyone need a SHHHH... sign?  It helps keep unwanted visitors out during testing time.

3. And last but not least, I will sent this note home with my kids the night before our first test.

I am also loving Hope's testing treats! I'm going to make a few for my class and then I think I'll have them give a little treat and note to their 6th grade buddies. Click on the image to check it out!

I recently came across this awesome website called Teach Train Love on Pinterest. The author is a first grade teacher and she has an awesome list of brain break clips.  (And they are all on SafeShare.TV not YouTube - Bonus!) Click on the images to check out all the videos.

My favorite is the Dinosaur Stomp Video and I can't wait to show it to my kids!

How do you prepare for end-of-level testing in your classroom?
