merry & bright: a christmas mini unit!

Holy MOLY! Is it just me, or did November fly by? I didn't even get to do all the fun activities I had planned for Thanksgiving. Do you think my students would mind doing a Readers Theater play about the Mayflower in December??? GEEZE! Time needs to S.L.O.W. down already! 

It's time to get my rear-end into gear and start thinking Christmas... 

My 37 page mini unit is perfect for the holiday season! The worksheets and games in this packet are great for reviewing and assessing the different parts of speech (verb, noun, & adjective), addition & subtraction, reading, and writing... all while staying in the holiday spirit!

My students LOVE this game below (included in the packet, of course) and I love it because it can be used to review lots of different subjects! The game board can be used over and over and OVER again! All you have to do is change out the review cards (in the game they are called Gift Cards) with different ones and you have a whole new lesson. Don't you love it when fun activities are effective and easy to assemble? I do!

My students did this fun word sort today. It was a good review of nouns, verbs, and adjectives!

They were also super excited that it was all *Christmas-y*!
