Last week we learned about word endings (-s, -ed, -ing).
My students had a lot of fun with these activities and they loved the "ing" and "ed" posters.
You can purchase this unit at my TpT store.
This whole unit was inspired by these little characters I designed:
Notice how the "ed" are old people because--it happened in the past
and the "ing" are first graders because--it is happening now!!
The first person to leave me a comment will get this unit FREE!
(Don't forget to leave me your email!)

So cute! I have been searching the internet for a cute bubble letter font. What is yours called?
ReplyDeleteI'm working on a lesson for word endings this week. Your unit is so cute! I just included a link to your blog on my post about word endings! (www.teacheristatales.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these characters! this is just what I have been teaching. I did it by relating it to one if my favorite scenes from The Lion King and it seems to have stuck. But I would love to be able to make some of these.
ReplyDeleteI could so use this unit with my class. It is so cute!
ReplyDeleteJust added a picture to my profile. Still love all your great ideas, thanks!
ReplyDeleteDo you sell just the posters for your units? I'd like to purchase just the posters for the individual units. Is that possible?
ReplyDelete@ Jennie: At this time, I am selling everything as a unit... maybe in the future? at least the whole unit is only $3.50!
ReplyDeleteI love your posters! I have bought all the phonics units! I have Adobe Illustrator but I can't seem to figure out how to make those cute letters you have! I want to make some posters for other phonic lessons my students are struggling with. Can you help?! Thank you for sharing all your awesome work with us :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! It would make a perfect notebooking page! Hope you don't mind if we use your grandparents/young people idea when they are creating their page!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am trying to find this on TpT, but the link is not working. Do you still have it for sale?
